Exchange capacity

The trade capacity of interconnections has registered similar values to previous years. In France, the maximum capacity was similar in both directions (slightly above 3,800 MW), while the average was slightly lower in the export direction. In Portugal, the maximum and average values for export capacity were around 1,000 MW higher than those for import capacity.

The average use of trade capacity on interconnections has been mainly exporting on all interconnections, being much more prominent on the interconnection with France.
