In 2024, amidst ongoing economic uncertainty, particularly of a geopolitical nature, the ENTSO-E member countries saw a 1.4% increase in electricity demand compared to the previous year. There were widespread increases in demand variation across countries, with only Estonia, Poland, and Switzerland experiencing declines in demand, with the largest decline observed in Switzerland, at 2.3% compared to the previous year.
