In 2025, in a context of high uncertainty regarding the global political situation, international trade and economic policies, the ENTSO-E member countries saw a 0.5% increase in electricity demand compared to the previous year. Electricity demand showed heterogeneous variations across countries. Notable declines were observed in Poland and Lithuania, while Switzerland and Denmark recorded increases of over 4% compared to the previous year.
